When I wasn’t devouring movies and television I spent my middle and high school years playing in bands, acting in musicals, and jamming in jazz ensembles. When I arrived at Hamilton College to earn a math degree and pre-med requirements, I couldn’t shake my love of performing. After school, I decided to fully pursue my passion for performing arts. That led me to the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, a world-renowned theater school that taught me how to tell stories through movement, mime, and improvisation. My work with the theater ensemble I co-founded, Wakka Wakka Productions was nominated for a 2008 Drama Desk Award. The New York Times said, and I quote, “these people may be geniuses.”
Wanting to combine my passion for storytelling with my childhood love of cinema, I discovered a passion for video editing. In 2009, I started doing freelance video editing of short films, performer reels, weddings, and branded content. I was drawn to the art of weaving visuals and sound into a compelling narrative. To expand my skills, I attended Manhattan Edit Workshop.
I love working with people. I’m an excellent collaborator and thrive in a team environment thanks to my background in ensemble performance. I’m also a creative problem-solver adept at bringing fresh ideas while also delivering with precise attention to detail.
